Areej guide

How do I care for my face every day?

The order stays the same. Three steps in the morning, two at night. If you add anything, add one step after the first week, not five serums at once.

What is the order of a skincare routine?

Morning:

  1. Cleanser.
  2. Moisturizer.
  3. Sunscreen, last.

Evening:

  1. Cleanser.
  2. Moisturizer.

Sunscreen does not go on at night. If you skipped it in the morning, an extra layer in the evening does not replace it.

How many steps are enough?

If you have ten minutes, keep the base: cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen. That is the routine you still finish on a tired day.

If you have more time and your skin is not sensitive, one treatment can start after the first week. An acid for breakouts and pores, vitamin C for dullness, retinol for lines, or eye care. One of those, not all of them in the same week.

Cleanser and moisturizer follow your skin

Tight or dry skin gets a cream cleanser and a richer moisturizer. Oily skin gets a gel cleanser and a light moisturizer. Combination skin is usually gel plus a light moisturizer, unless it feels tight. Tight skin gets the cream and the richer moisturizer.

Why sunscreen every day?

Glow and color change in the sun, including near a window. Sunscreen is the step that keeps the rest of the routine from being undone. Without it, a treatment after week one is harder on the skin than it is useful.

Serum order is on the serum page. Night care is in what to put on before sleep.
